Refunds & cancellations.
We want every customer to be happy with Vincen AI. If something hasn't worked out, this page explains how to cancel and how refunds are handled.
1. The short version
- You can cancel any subscription at any time. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
- For web subscriptions purchased through Paddle, EU/UK/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal; outside that window we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
- For mobile subscriptions bought inside the iOS or Android app, refunds are handled by Apple or Google — we cannot issue them ourselves.
- If something is broken on our side, contact us at info@apptribe.co and we will make it right.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel a Vincen AI subscription at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access to all paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate or refund unused days of the current period when you cancel.
iOS subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are managed in your Apple ID settings:
- Open the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select Vincen AI.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Android subscriptions
When the Android app is available, subscriptions purchased through Google Play are managed in the Play Store:
- Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then tap Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions and select Vincen AI.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
Web subscriptions
When the web version is available, you can cancel a web subscription from your account settings inside Vincen AI, or by following the link in your billing receipts from Paddle. You can also email info@apptribe.co and we will cancel it for you.
3. Refunds for web subscriptions (Paddle)
Web subscriptions are sold through our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, taxes, and refund processing on our behalf.
14-day right of withdrawal (EU / UK / EEA)
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund — provided you have not substantially used the service during that period. By purchasing and beginning to use Vincen AI immediately, you may waive this right depending on your jurisdiction; in practice we still offer reasonable refunds within the 14-day window.
Outside the 14-day window
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable after the 14-day window has passed. We will, however, consider a refund or credit on a case-by-case basis if:
- The service was unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side.
- You were charged after cancelling, or charged in error.
- You experienced a billing or technical issue that prevented you from using the service.
How to request a web refund
- Email info@apptribe.co from the address linked to your Vincen AI account.
- Include the Paddle receipt or order ID (you'll find it in your purchase confirmation email).
- Briefly tell us why you'd like a refund.
We aim to respond within 3 business days and, if approved, the refund is issued back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer it can take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
4. Refunds for mobile subscriptions (App Store / Google Play)
Subscriptions you purchase inside the iOS or Android app are processed by Apple or Google. Under their store rules, only Apple and Google can issue refunds for these purchases — we don't have access to the payment and we cannot refund it ourselves.
iOS (App Store) refunds
Request a refund directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple typically reviews requests within a few days.
Android (Google Play) refunds
When Vincen AI is available on Android, you can request a refund through the Google Play Help Center at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637.
If Apple or Google declines a refund and you believe there is a problem on our side, please let us know at info@apptribe.co. We can sometimes provide service credits even where the store cannot refund the original payment.
5. Non-refundable items
The following are generally not eligible for a refund:
- Used credits — credits already consumed to generate deliverables.
- Past billing periods beyond the 14-day window described above, in the absence of a fault on our side.
- Promotional, gift, or third-party codes, unless required by applicable law.
- Charges that resulted from account sharing or violations of our Terms of Service.
6. Chargebacks
If you don't recognise a charge, please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank — we can almost always resolve it directly. Chargebacks are expensive and time-consuming for both sides, and we may suspend access to accounts that initiate chargebacks while a charge is still in dispute.
